This replacement clock assembly for a Frigidaire or Kenmore gas oven model number 790301794 includes a digital display that shows all the operations of the oven. It controls the timing and execution of oven functions by receiving input from the control panel through a ribbon wire

Shut off the circuit breaker for the oven before beginning to make the repair. To take out the old clock start by taking off the control panel. You may be able to do this by opening the oven door and taking out the screws from the bottom of the panel. If that is not possible pull the oven out of the wall and take off the top panel above the control box.

Once you have freed the control panel fold it forward to access the clock. Make note of how the wires are connected so you can reattach them properly to the new clock.
