Choose this manufacturer-approved secondary coil for your residential dryer.
This secondary coil for a gas-heated residential dryer has a stacked design. It attaches to the gas valve and supplies gas to the igniter after the primary coil stops providing fuel. A properly functioning secondary coil is necessary for maintaining each flame cycle.
Unplug the dryer before beginning to remove a damaged or malfunctioning secondary coil. Gain access to the burner assembly, take the mounting bracket off the coils and pull out the secondary coil. Reverse the removal procedures to install the replacement coil.
The secondary coil comes as part of a kit that includes the primary coil. Replacing both coils at the same time is recommended.
