WR24X527 Refrigerator Freezer Door Gasket
This manufacturer-approved freezer door gasket (part number WR24X527) is for a side-by-side refrigerator, including Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator model 36348042893.
Before installing the freezer door gasket, soak it in warm water or run over it with a hair dryer to straighten out any bends or twists. A kinked gasket will not form a tight seal, which will cause cooled air to leak out of the freezer. Be careful not to overheat the gasket.
When making the repair, inspect the top, bottom and side door gasket retainer strips. Replace any strips that show damage or wear.
